Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.   Warren Bennis

Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.   John F. Kennedy

Leadership is key in any business or organization. For many years I have made it a point to attend seminars and read literature on being a more effective leader. One such excellent seminar is coming up Friday March 8 for the Leadercast forum featuring internationally known leaders including Peyton Manning, best selling leadership authors Seth Godin and Andy Stanley, 18 year old Nobel Laureate and Taliban survivor Malala Yousafzai, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, CEO of SAP AG Bill McDermott, President of Pixar & Disney Animation Ed Catmull, Navy SEAL Commander Rorke Denver and more. The event is held in Atlanta but is simulcast around the globe. GSA is a sponsor of the Ann Arbor area simulcast.

This year’s focus is The Brave Ones, as essential behavior for any leader is the act of bravery. Bravery is not a moniker that can be bought, it cannot be self-appointed. Bravery is not attributed to everyone, but is reserved for those whose innovation in their industry cause them to stand out from the crowd.

Though not a church based forum, Dexter United Methodist Church will be the local simulcast host. Register by April 24th for the Early Bird special of only $59; after the 24th, the rate is $69. Your ticket will include catered continental breakfast, lunch and afternoon break, all on-site to enhance networking opportunities. This professional setting includes conference tables, multiple large screens and wifi access.

Go to our website www.genservassoc.com or Facebook at Leadercast Dexter to register, find other locations or for more information.
